Miles of open space, as well as a thoughtful mix of native plants and grass for recreational use span the Stonegate North Villages landscape. Residents enjoy long trails and beautiful foot bridges, gazebos and BBQ facilities. There are plenty of spaces for community members to run, walk, cycle and play — and judging by a 2020 report, residents are doing just that. Douglas County was named the second healthiest community in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report.

Other Features

  • Multiple community playgrounds

Please ensure that all residents and guests enjoying the district amenities, adhere to the posted rules and district policies governing recreation facilities.

For instance, the open grassy area in the district, referred to as “landscaped common areas” in the  Policies and Procedures Governing the Recreation Amenities, is a first-come, first-served space. The largest of these areas, the open space located at 9540 Stonegate Pkwy, Parker, CO 80134, is often referred to as Lincoln Park. Another area referred to as Keystone Park, is located at the southeast corner of Aventerra and Keystone Blvd. The aim of the district is that these large common areas remain available for the families and residents of the community for limited day use for picnics, family recreation and general play, and are not available to reserve for personal use. We also have stipulations against use for commercial activities and/or organized sports teams.
