District Maintained Fencing, Jordan Road Enhancement Project and New Tree Program Updates

We wanted to update community members on several projects within the district.

  • The portions of perimeter fencing owned and/or maintained by the district have had scheduled repairs completed. The contractor that has been retained to stain the public view portions for those repairs will commence on Monday, July 12th at 8:00 a.m. Weather permitting, the project should be completed by the following Monday, July 19th
  • As reported last month, our District Board of Directors obtained proposals to make some capital improvements to the turn area along Jordan Road, between Aventerra Parkway and Market Street. The 2021 portion of the project includes transitioning a great deal of unusable high-maintenance and expense bluegrass turf to native seed — and adding thirty (30) deciduous and pine trees. Future improvements being considered will be a crusher fine path heading from Market Drive between the homes at 9424 and 9448 to the public sidewalk off of Jordan Road. The landscape contractor selected for this project will commence work on Saturday, July 10th, with some chemical spraying of the turf areas to be transitioned to native seed.
  • We are pleased to report that the district has had four members show interest in obtaining a proposal to have a tree(s) added to a common tract next to their lot. If you are interested in obtaining a proposal to have the district add additional trees, not covered under the district’s Spring tree replacement program, to the district open space landscape near your home, please contact PCMS at 720-851-8178.

Have a great weekend!
